The Joist Grippa bracket is an alternative fixing solution to the current NZS3604 Coach screw fixing of joists to boundary joists on timber decks

Branz Appraisal
The BRANZ Appraisal has been completed for the Joist Grippa as an alternative fixing solution to the New Zealand Standard NZS3604:2011 figures 7.10 (b) and 7.10 (c) for 190x45mm joist size and larger. If your deck construction use's 140x45mm joists then refer to the Install Fixing and PS1 section below that covers this joist size.

- 2 x M12 x 200mm long coach screws
- 2 x M12 x 120mm long engineers bolts
- 6 x 50x50x3mm square washer
- 2 x 200mm 6kN brace strap
- 24 x 30mm x 3.15dia flat head nails
